Anybody else get shocked with the kids grow up so quickly before your eyes? The transformation that these kids go through for their matric dance is something else! It doesn’t help that I can remember mine like it was yesterday, when in reality my matric dance was… 25 years ago.
Wait, did I really just say that it’s been 25 years since my matric dance?? I need to take a minute here for myself…
Okay, I think I’ve gotten over the shock. Sort of.
One thing that I’m glad of is the photos that I have from that day. Photos of me with my parents, my brother, my grandmother, and the rest of my family. Not to mention the photos we took with my friends. Very special memories indeed!
